On 5th of the January, PM Narendra Modi gave a visit to Punjab wherein lack of security caused an issue meanwhile a video got viral on social media, in which you can see bikers are heard raising slogans like, “Khalistan Zindabad”

The video was shared by many but one account named Narendra Modi Fan tweets,

“Why Did The Congress Government Not Arrest Those Who Raised Slogans Of Khalistan Zindabad Yesterday?” #PresidentRuleInPunjab

Fact Check

After examining the case, our team (DFRAC) got to know that the video is on 26th December 2021. In the memory of “Chote Sahibzade”, the son of Guru Gobind Singh localities rallied out.

After researching we found many videos of the rally on Facebook and Twitter that were posted near 26th December to 28th December. The video is related to the Kesari March which is celebrated in honor of Fatehgarh martyrs. The fair is held from 25 December to 27 December in memory of Guru Gobind Singh’s son Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh. 

Conclusion: The article states that viral video has no relation with the PM visit to Punjab. Hence the video is fake and misleading.
