Fact check

The news is false. Telangana government has not made any such decisions or statements. They have declared holidays in all the educational institutions across the state on the occasion of Makar Sankranti from 8th January to 16th January and after witnessing a spike in covid-19 cases. The cases are reported from Rangareddy and Medchal-Malkajgiri districts. The Telangana government has also made clear by not imposing lockdown and night curfew in the upcoming days in the report by Indian Express.
