These days a news is getting viral all over the internet that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made false promises to the people of Tripura under TUDA (Tripura Urban Planning and Development Authority) Township Project, which emphasis to provide pucca houses to the people of Tripura by the year 2022.

Fact Check
With the research on various platforms it was found out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made no such promises under TUDA Township project, but under Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna . It is a move that will benefit about 1.47 lakh people of Tripura living in ‘kuccha’ houses to construct ‘pucca’ dwelling units, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the fund on 14th November 2021, at about 1p.m and directly transferred Rs 700 crore to their accounts for the purpose.
CONCLUSION
It was seen that the information about TUDA township project and Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna was highly misinterpreted with each other, hence making this picture untrue.
