Fact:

Upon Investigation, the DFRAC determined that old videos were posted along with misleading claims. All three videos predate the current protests and depict unrelated events.

The first combines two pieces of footage: The first combines two pieces of footage: one of a rally in Rajasthan on July 21, 2026, posted by the Instagram account ‘@bmk_group0017’, and another of a Bajrang Dal-VHP protest in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh, on June 4, 2026, over drug abuse and other local issues.

The second video, showing a road rally by Hindutva organisations, was traced through reverse image search to an Instagram post published by @royal__rajputana__ on November 14, 2022. It is unrelated to the ongoing demonstrations in Delhi.

The third video, featuring vehicles carrying saffron flags travelling along a highway, was posted by the X account @Jatassociation on March 29, 2026. It therefore does not show groups travelling to Delhi for the October 10 protest.

Further, on October 8, 2026, Bajrang Dal issued a statement through its official X account denying claims that its workers were heading to Delhi to counter the protest. Meanwhile, Delhi Police deployed 23,000 Central Armed Police Forces personnel from October 8 to 12 for law and order duties during the demonstrations.

For further investigation, we contacted Jaipur-based journalist Wahid Yazdani to verify the claims made in the viral posts. He termed all three videos as old and unrelated to the current CJP protests held at Jantar Mantar, Delhi.

Conclusion:

Three old and unrelated videos have been falsely presented as footage of Hindutva groups heading to Delhi to counter the CJP protest.
