A video circulating on social media claims to show Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan endorsing an AI-based investment scheme that allegedly allows people to earn massive profits within days. The video promises extraordinary returns and urges viewers to invest quickly before the minimum deposit amount increases.
In the viral clip, Shah Rukh Khan appears to encourage people to invest ₹22,000 in an AI-powered system, claiming that participants can earn between ₹95,000 and ₹1.5 lakh within a day. The video further alleges that users can eventually make ₹25 lakh to ₹30 lakh within a month through the platform. The actor seemingly assures viewers that the project is legal, transparent, and accessible to everyone, regardless of educational background or prior experience.
The video was promoted as an advertisement in India by a Facebook page named “Ryan Mugler Charles.”

Fact Check:
DFRAC conducted an investigation and found the claim to be false. A keyword-based search using the claims made in the viral clip did not yield any credible reports or official announcements linking Shah Rukh Khan to such an investment platform. We then performed a reverse image search using keyframes from the viral video. This led us to the original source: an interview uploaded on the YouTube channel “Film Companion Studios” titled “An Interview with King Khan.”
In the original interview, Shah Rukh Khan is seen speaking with Anupama Chopra about his film Raees, the portrayal of morally complex characters in cinema, and the challenges of stardom. At no point during the conversation does he discuss investments, financial schemes, AI-based earning platforms, or money-making opportunities.
A comparison of the original interview and the viral clip indicates that the visuals were taken from the original interview and later altered with fabricated audio.
Additionally, as part of our investigation, DFRAC also analyzed the audio using the AI-detection tool TruthScan. The analysis suggested that the speech heard in the viral video was AI-generated, indicating that the audio had been synthetically created and superimposed onto authentic footage of Shah Rukh Khan. This further supports the conclusion that the video was digitally manipulated to falsely portray the actor endorsing the scheme.

Conclusion:
DFRAC’s investigation found that the viral video claiming to show Shah Rukh Khan promoting an AI-based investment and money-making project is false. The footage was taken from an unrelated interview and altered using AI-generated audio. There is no evidence that Shah Rukh Khan has endorsed the investment platform or made the statements heard in the viral clip.
