A report published by the news portal OpIndia claimed that Naimuddin, the manager of a primary school in the Taryasujan police station area of Kushinagar district, Uttar Pradesh, raped a 5-year-old girl studying at the school.

OpIndia reported a shocking incident from the Taryasujan police station area in the Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. A 5-year-old girl, a student at a primary school, was allegedly raped by the school manager, Naimuddin. The child returned home covered in blood and remains in critical condition at the Kushinagar Medical College.
According to the family, the girl went to school on the morning of April 10, 2026. When she returned home in the afternoon, she was in a severely distressed condition and bleeding continuously. Alarmed by her state, her mother immediately called her father, who rushed back from the fields. The family promptly took the child to a nearby hospital, where she was given primary treatment before being referred to the district hospital due to the seriousness of her condition. She was later admitted to Kushinagar Medical College, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Doctors initially expressed suspicion of something heinous. A female doctor also indicated that something was seriously wrong, although the final medical report is still awaited. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the hospital, recorded the victim’s statement, and registered an FIR based on the family’s complaint. Initially, the school manager, Naimuddin, was taken into custody, and allegations were also raised against the school staff. The matter was taken up for investigation.
Fact Check:

To investigate the viral claim, DFRAC searched for various keywords related to the incident. During this process, several reliable media reports surfaced. According to reports from Dainik Bhaskar and ETV Bharat, the police investigation revealed that after school was dismissed, the girl went to a nearby mango orchard to gather mangoes. During this time, a man present there found her alone, committed a sexual assault against her, and fled the scene.

After a thorough investigation, interrogation, and local-level inquiry, the police identified the accused as Surendra Singh. He was subsequently arrested by the police. During questioning, Surendra Singh confessed to his crime.

Additionally, the official statement released by Kushinagar Police clarified that the actual perpetrator who raped the girl is Surendra Singh, son of the late Ramratan Singh, a resident of Virvat Konhvalia, Taryasujan Police Station, Kushinagar district.
Conclusion:
The claim made in the viral report is misleading and not supported by the findings of the investigation. Police have confirmed that the actual accused is Surendra Singh, who has also confessed to the crime. Therefore, identifying any other individual as the perpetrator based on the viral report is incorrect and misleading.
