On social media, a video of a house without paint, cement and a number of CCTV cameras installed on its walls has gone viral. While sharing the video users claim that “What is Salman Khan afraid of? How many CCTV cameras are installed in Salman’s house?” (Translated in English)
Fact Check
During the investigation, DFRAC found that the claim was false. We found a similar video on Instagram account of ‘Happy China Life’ uploaded on 11 Oct, 2024 with the caption “Whose house is this”.
Furthermore, we also found a shorts video from ‘Aaj Tak’ stating “More than 40 cameras on every wall, security like that of the White House!”
Moreover, we also found a news report from ‘NDTV India’ published on 22 Oct, 2024 mentioning “Seeing Z++ security and CCTV surveillance all around outside the house, people said – who is inside?”
Apart from this, we also looked at the pictures of Salman’s house Galaxy apartment and found no similarities from the above viral video.
Notably, it has not been mentioned in any media report that this house belongs to salman khan.
Conclusion
It is evident from the DFRAC’s fact check that the house shown in the viral video does not belong to bollywood Actor Salman Khan. Therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
