Fact-check

During the investigation, DFRAC found that the claim was false. We found a tweet from official X handle of Randhir Jaiswal, official Spokesperson,Ministry of External Affairs stating “We have seen the Reuters report. It is speculative and misleading. It implies violations by India, where none exist and, hence, is inaccurate and mischievous”.

Furthermore, a report from Jagran News mentioned “MEA: ‘News of arms reaching Ukraine from India is misleading’, Foreign Ministry rejects claims of foreign media”.

Moreover, another report from First Post stated: “New Delhi on Thursday slammed Reuters report on diversion of Indian defense exports to Ukraine, terming it “inaccurate and mischievous”
