A media report by Scroll. in stated that a social media post carrying a video by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Karnataka unit on Saturday “demonising” the Muslim community triggered outrage online.

Moreover, news agency ANI reported on X(Twitter) that on Sunday, the Congress filed a complaint against some BJP party members such as National prez JP Nadda, BJP social media in-charge Amit Malviya & BJP’s state unit chief BY Vijayendra. Congress alleged that the video intimidated members of the SC & ST not to vote for a particular candidate to create feelings of enmity, hatred & ill-will against the communities.
