To know the reality of the viral picture, the DFRAC team did a reverse search of the photo. We found the photo on www.gettyimages.co.uk’s website. On January 10, 2023, women carry sacks of wheat flour after shopping at government-controlled prices in Islamabad.
Pakistan’s economy has collapsed, along with the fall in the rupee in Pakistan and high levels of inflation, devastating floods and global inflation. The energy crisis has put further pressure.
