A video of a man wearing a headscarf rescued by guards went viral on social media. Sharing the video, social media users are claiming that he is the defense minister of Saudi. Sharing the video Twitter user Anjali Jain wrote, “ He is Saudia Defense Minister, he had come to attend the celebration of the Chinese New Year #China at the Chinese embassy, the Chinese officers had arranged for him #Welcome with fireworks, but the minister did not know this. Then what happened, enjoy yourself too.”

Fact Check
To check the reality of the viral video DFRAC team divided the video into multiple keyframes using the InVID tool and applied image reverse search to them. The team found an on the Twitter account of @AlhadathQ8 with an Arabic caption that translates into English as, “Gulf Defense and Aviation Exhibition | A fake military show by the Emiri Guard.” The video was posted on December 12, 2019.

Conclusion
The viral video is old and is of a fake military show by the Emiri Guard. Therefore, the claim of the social media user is false.
