To fact-check the viral video, DFRAC did a reverse image search of some frames of the video. This video was uploaded on the official channel of News18 India on August 3, 2022. According to this news, a young man was attacked with sharp weapons by some people in Hansi, Haryana.
At the same time, on searching this incident on Google, we found a report of Dainik Bhaskar. According to this report- A guy was killed after he barged into his house in Hansi town of Haryana’s Hisar district in the early hours of Wednesday. . The victim was identified as Vikas and was the father of two children. The guy has 21 criminal cases registered against him. He came on parole only a few days ago. The murder was committed due to old rivalry between two groups. Jaiveer Pehalwan, the father of the deceased Vikas, was also murdered. Naina Devi, the wife of the deceased, said that the children also tried hard to save the husband from the attackers, but their number was high. CCTV footage of the incident of entering the house from the wall has been found. The number of attackers is 7 and they entered the house with the help of a ladder, axes, and other sharp weapons in the group.
