Fact Check: A video went viral with the claim that Rohingya Muslims killed a Hindu man. Know the truth.

A video of a man beaten to death in broad daylight is going viral on the internet. Users are sharing this heinous video with the claim that in the video Rohingya Muslims killed a Hindu man.

Further, a user name @KNMishra_, have shared the video with the captioned, “In the scorching summer afternoon, the Rohingya Muslims beat up a Hindu youth with stones, kept beating him till he could not stop breathing. Finally ripped him with a knife so that there was no possibility of his survival at all. Government should expel all Rohigyas from the country.”

Similarly, many other users have shared this video.

Fact Check

Using InVid tool on the different frames of the video we found the same video on YouTube. The Times of India uploaded this video on June 4, 2022 with the title, “Viral Video: Man brutally killed by two brothers in Delhi’s Azadpur.”

Furthermore, according to a report of Indian Express, the incident is of Adarsh Nagar, New Delhi where A 28-year-old man was allegedly murdered by two brothers. The accused brothers have been identified as Rahul and Rohit Kali. The victim, Narender alias Bunti, and Rahul were previously involved in cases of robbery and snatching,” said DCP (Northwest) Usha Rangnani.
