Fact check: Has Russia made a military move on the backyard of America in 2022?  

After Russia’s order for keeping nuclear arms on high alert under the Ukraine-Russia conflict. A claim is getting viral on social media where users are claiming that Putin is making military moves in America’s backyard.

Security Affairs International posted a video on Facebook which is a recording of news covered by CNN over Putin’s military moves in the backyard of America as well as the military tension between Russia and America. The video was posted on 2^nd March 2022.

Frank Iroroh.com posted a video the same viral video over Putin’s military moves towards America. According him Russia deploys two nuke bombers in the US’s backward Venezuela on 1^st March 2022.

Fact check

After digging further, we got the video of CNN. The viral video was from the 2018 when Russia was trying to establish a hold near the American shores. A military tension was witnessed between Russia and America at that time.

CNN posted the video on their YouTube page in the year 2018. Therefore the video is old and again getting viral on social with certain claims.

Another proof where in the article of The Guardian, Russia has landed Nuclear-capable “Black-jack” bombers in Venezuela in order to show support with Nicolas Madura, president of Venezuela. Most importantly the article was published 3 years back. Hence proving that the claim and news are old and now again getting viral.
