Fact check: Has Karnataka tuned into Saffron Colour after the case of Hijab Row?

The Karnataka High court has started taking hearings for the ban of Hijab in the Educational System. In the earlier hearing Court passed an interim order of not wearing Hijabs and saffron shawls while attending the class in Karnataka. As per India Today

Meanwhile, a video under claims of Hijab Row is getting viral. A certain area is filled with saffron Flag and a boy is waving the flag. The flag has the picture of Lord Rama on it and it is believed to be a symbol of Hinduism. The video was posted on 19th February 2020 by @mahendruraghav on Twitter followed by other users respectively.

After searching for the authenticity of the video, we got to know that the same video has gone viral from June 2021.  Budharam hindustani, a Facebook user has posted the same video in 2019 and captioned it with slogans of Jai Shree Ram.

Conclusion: The video has got viral since June 2021, therefore, the video does not come under Hijab Row because the case started in February 2022. Hence proving the video is misleading.
