Fact Check:
The DFRAC team found in the investigation that the viral video is not from the Supreme Court. This video is from October during the Allahabad High Court Bar Association election, where lawyers were appealing for votes. On reverse searching the key frames of the video, we found that this video was shared by Allahabad High Court lawyer Aditya Singh Hunter on his Instagram account on 19 October 2025.
For more information about the video, our team contacted lawyer Aditya Singh Hunter. He told us that this video is from the time of the Allahabad High Court Bar Association election, when lawyers were appealing for votes. We found that several other videos related to the Bar Association election have also been posted on Aditya Singh’s Instagram account.
Conclusion:
The DFRAC fact check makes it clear that the video shared on social media is not of lawyers marching in the Supreme Court against vote theft. This video is of lawyers appealing for votes during the Bar Association election at the Allahabad High Court. Therefore, the users’ claim is misleading.
