A Pakistani account on x, with the username ‘Tactical Tribune’ issued a claim. The user claimed “International Passengers have started refusing to sit in aircraft being flown by Indian pilots after June 12 crash.”
Another account named ‘Politicia_09’ also shared the same statement.
Fact Check
The team at DFRAC dug deep to find information on the claim and identified that the claim was FAKE. Since none of the media outlets or channels have published any official records or reports on it. It is difficult to prove the authenticity of the viral claim. The official body of Aviation in India has also not issued such a statement at all, with regards to international passengers boycotting the Indian aircrafts. Neither any foreign airline released any statement concerning the viral claim.
Conclusion
Hence, these accusations are entirely invalid because they are unsupported by facts. They are distributed purposely with the motive of conveying false news and defaming Indian aircrafts and aviators.
