Another website named Hindi Yojana also shared similar news about the launch of such Yojana.

Fact Check
Upon investigation, we found the claim to be False. A closer examination of the video reveals a watermark reading “Happy April Fools Day” in the top right corner at the 0:32-second mark. At around 01:17 minutes, a document outlining the scheme appears on screen, which, upon closer inspection, clearly states, “Posted on April Fools Day by LLA,” indicating the video was intended as a prank. Additionally, the watermark “Labour Law Advisor” is visible in the top left corner throughout the video.

Further investigation shows that the video was originally shared on April 1, 2025, via the social media accounts of an influencer known as ‘Labour Law Advisor.’ The caption accompanying the post described the supposed benefits of the scheme and ended with the line: “There’s no link, because it’s 1st April. Happy April Fools Day #JagrukJanta,” clearly suggesting the video was part of an April Fools’ joke, with a call for viewers to stay alert.

Additionally, a keyword search yielded no official announcements regarding such a scheme. The video falsely claims that the ‘PM Kardata Kalyan Yojana’ was introduced by the finance minister during the 2025 Budget speech. However, a review of the official Budget documents and speech, available on the Government of India’s website (indiabudget.gov.in), confirms that no such scheme was proposed or mentioned.
Conclusion
The claim that the Government of India has launched a scheme called the ‘PM Kardata Kalyan Yojana’ offering rewards to honest taxpayers is false. The viral video promoting this claim was intended as an April Fools’ prank, as indicated by multiple visual cues and disclaimers within the video itself. No official announcement or mention of such a scheme exists in the 2025 Union Budget or on any government platform.
