Fact-Check

In the probe, the DFRAC team found that the video had been misleadingly shared on X.

We conducted a reverse-image search using keyframes generated from the above-shared video that led us to a similar video posted on the YouTube account NEWS AGRADOOT on March 7, 2023.

Fact-check analysis by DFRAC showing viral claims about a convoy of white Toyota Innova vehicles. The image features a screenshot from a YouTube video by 'NEWS AGRADOOT,' dated March 7, 2023, with over 347,000 views, and a TikTok video claiming the convoy belongs to an IAS or SDM officer. The fact-check debunks viral misinformation that previously alleged the convoy was linked to Bangladesh's ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina being transported to India. The DFRAC watermark is present, indicating a verified fact-check on the claim.

Furthermore, we found that the same video was posted in the form of shorts on the YouTube account named abhishek_upsc_lover. It was uploaded in the year 2023 with the caption: “IAS, SDM ka Kaifla”

Noticing these alphabets and numbers on the car’s number plate, we examined the given number on the website of Car info and found that the website has shown Korba, DTO (District Transport Office) Chhattisgarh.

Apparently, it indicates that the video shows a group of vehicles that belong to a Chhattisgarh government official.

Conclusion

It is clear from DFRAC’s fact-check that the viral video showing a group of cars and motorcycles is from Chattisgarh. It does not show ousted Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina shifting back from Delhi to Allahabad under the maximum security of the Indian government.
