DFRAC ran an investigation to know the authenticity of the video, and it was revealed that the claim about the viral video was misleading. Through a reverse image search, we discovered that the original video was uploaded to Facebook by Wedding Studio on July 26, 2024.
In another video, uploaded on the same page, in similar costumes, the actors can be seen playing other roles of daughter-in-law and father-in-law.

Wedding Studio is a page that produces scripted and entertaining content. Although the page is based in Saudi Arabia, it creates videos showcasing Bangladeshi culture for entertainment purposes.
