Many other users have shared the similar claim that can be viewed here and here.

Fact Check:

Upon investigation by DFRAC, it was found that the claim was misleading. By conducting, a reverse search image, it was found that the person on the bed is indeed the late Manmohan Singh. However, the picture is not from the time of the deceased but from 2021. We found media reports from  15 October 2021, such as Zeenews which read “Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (October 14, 2021) wished his predecessor Manmohan Singh a speedy recovery. The former Prime Minister was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Wednesday evening after he complained of weakness following a fever.”

We at DFRAC also found a similar image on a tweet by NBT Dilli dated October 14, 2021 “ “Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya arrived to meet former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh admitted in AIIMS.”

NBT Dilli

On further investigation, we found a Tweet from former Union Health Minister DR Mansukh Mandaviya in which he tweeted “Today I met former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh ji at AIIMS, New Delhi and enquired about his health.”

Conclusion

Thus from the above fact check, conducted by the DFRAC team, it is concluded that the viral picture of the deceased is not a recent one, but rather an older picture dating back to October 2021, when they were admitted in AIIMS Delhi.
