Some pak handles shared an image on Social media platform X(formerly twitter) and claimed that Kashmiri Freedom Fighters have attacked Indian forces logistics supply convoy & have neutralized an Army soldier in Shahpur, Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir.

An account named Sargin Affairs posted this image and wrote: “Kashmiri Freedom Fighters have attacked Indian occupational forces logistics supply convoy and have killed an Army soldier in Shahpur sector, Poonch”

Moreover, other handles shared this image and made similar claims. The preview link can be seen here and here.

Fact-Check

In the probe, #DFRAC team found that the claim shared with the image was completely fake. Moreover, the image had been usedseveral times for representational purposes by multiple media outlets.

We searched some keywords on Google regarding this claim and found that no reports were available online supporting the above claim.
For further investigation, we examined the handles of Chinar Corps, J&K police, and Kashmir Zone police. No updates or tweets have been found regarding this claim.

In addition to this, we tried to locate the authenticity of the shared image using Google Lens and found that
multiple media outlets have used the image several times for representational purposes.

Conclusion

It is clear from DFRAC ‘s fact-check that the viral claim made by Pak handles is completely fake since no evidence is available in support of the above claim.
