video of computer game falsely linked with Iran-Israel conflict
On social media, a video of a jet has gone viral. While sharing the video users claim that “Iran is Ready, Israel finish?”
Fact-check
During the investigation, DFRAC found that the claim was false. We examined this video carefully and found that this video is actually a computer game as it features symbols from virtual graphics. In the video greenery suddenly appear on the ground that were not previously displayed. It indicates that it is a computer game. Furthermore, we found that aircraft shown in the viral video its look like F 15 aircraft. This aircraft are used in US while Iran has some different aircraft.
Conclusion
It is evident from the DFRAC’s fact check that the viral video is a computer game. It is not related to Iran-Israel conflict. Therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
