Several handles operating from different countries leave no stone unturned to target their rivalries on the Internet. Amid this, an unusual post has emerged depicting an exchange of debunking misinformation process taking place on X. While exposing misinformation by another X handle a pak-based handle, claimed on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that Kuki freedom fighters have reportedly eliminated 12 Indian Army soldiers in Manipur, India.
A pak-based handle named Psywar Bureau fact-checked the misinformation spread by an Indian handle and wrote: “As expected, Baba Banaras continues to spread misinformation about the #Pakistan Army.
Meanwhile, in #Manipur, #Kuki freedom fighters have reportedly eliminated 12 #indian Army soldiers today.
Yet, just like #Modi himself, Indian social media remains silent on the issue, completely ignoring the fact that their soldiers are being taken down in Manipur”

The DFRAC team fact-checked the above viral claim. We conducted a keyword search on google in this regard and found that no reports had been published supporting the above claim.
Moreover, we examined the X handle of Manipur police (@manipur_police) to reach out to any updates or tweets regarding the above claim, but there was no such information was available on this handle.
Surprisingly, there was no such information stating that 12 Indian Army soldiers were eliminated by Kuki freedom fighters in Manipur.
