A viral screenshot claims that the owners and key officials of a Tamil Nadu-based company, allegedly supplying adulterated ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati temple, are all Muslims.
Multiple other users were found sharing the same claim which can be viewed here, here and here.
Fact Check
Upon investigation, we found the claim to be false. A closer look at the viral screenshot reveals that it refers to “AR Foods (Pvt) Limited,” not “AR Dairy Food Private Limited,” indicating that these are two separate companies with similar names. Using relevant keywords, we identified the company as AR Foods Pvt Ltd.
A.R. Foods (Pvt) Limited operates the “Phool” brand, known for selling packaged spices. A review of its LinkedIn profile confirms its location in Islamabad, Pakistan.
We cross-checked the profile photos of the individuals in the viral image, and they matched with the current profiles. Due to LinkedIn’s privacy settings, the names of the employees were not visible. However, it became clear that the image in question had been taken from the LinkedIn profiles of employees from this Pakistani company. Moreover, the location in both the viral screenshot and the original LinkedIn profiles was explicitly stated as Pakistan.
In contrast, A.R. Dairy Food Private Limited is a dairy company based in Tamil Nadu, India, which operates under the “Raaj Milk” brand. The directors of this company are Rajasekaran Suriyaprabha, Raju Rajasekaran, and Srinivasalunaidu Ramchandran Srinivasan. It is registered in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, and has recently been involved in a controversy regarding the Tirumala Laddoo.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the viral screenshot refers to the employees of AR Foods from Pakistan, not AR Dairy Foods from Tamil Nadu, India. Therefore, the claim circulating online is misleading.
