A video showing water leaking from the roof of Delhi Airport is making rounds on social media platform X(Twitter). The video has been shared by multiple users claiming that Delhi airport was ranked the best in the world by an Indian survey company paid by the Indian government.
An X user named Jayant Bhandari posted this video and wrote: “This Delhi airport was ranked the best in the world by an Indian survey company paid by the Indian government. Conflict of interests?”
In addition to that, several users shared this video and made similar claims.
Fact-Check
To verify the reality of the claim made through the above viral video, the DFRAC team searched some keywords in this regard. We found that Delhi Airport has been awarded as the best Airport in India in the Skytrax World Airport Awards. As per info. given on the Skytrax website, it is based in London UK. However, Delhi Airport stood at 36th position in the 2022-23 World Airport Survey.
