Fact-Check
To verify the authenticity of this news, the DFRAC team conducted a keyword search on google in this regard. We found that no such news articles or reports have been published in the support of above-shared news.
However, we came across another piece of news currently hitting the headlines in mainstream media
According to recent reports from Rising Kashmir, The Wire, The Times of India andBusiness Today, around 10 people were killed & more than 30 injured after terrorists fired on a bus carrying pilgrims. Following the firing by terrorists, the bus fell into a deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district. The incident occurred on Sunday when the bus was returning from the Shiv Khori temple in Reasi to Katra.
Apparently, 10 pilgrims were killed instead of 10 Indian soldiers in a recent bus terror attack in Reasi district.
Conclusion
It is evident from DFRAC’s fact-check that the above news of 10 Indian soldiers dead has been misleadingly shared on X. In reality, 10 pilgrims were killed and over 30 injured in the recent bus terror attack.
