As electoral bonds data released by the Election Commission, a claim stating that donations were given through electoral bonds by Pak’s Hub Power Company, is going viral on social media Platforms. Users on social media are claiming that the BJP got donations from a Pak co. while some are taking the name of Congress.
A user by the name of Sudhir Mishra wrote on X(Twitter): “Why doesn’t the media show this “horrible” news? Congress received “Electoral Bonds” from “Hub Power Company” of ‘Pakistan’ on 18 April 2019. Congress should tell, what are your relations with the enemy country’s “Pakistani Company”? Taking donations from a company of a terrorist country…but why?”
Furthermore, another user by the name of Alok Chikku claimed: “Shocking revelation, Pakistan-based company Hub Power Company donated electoral bonds, weeks after Pulwama attack! To whom have donations been given to BJP? They must know what they would have got in return. When the whole country was mourning the martyrdom of 40 brave soldiers, someone was enjoying the funds received from Pakistan. Now you know why the Pulwama attacks were never properly investigated and why no culprit has been caught yet!” #ElectoralBondsCase #चंदा_चोर_मोदी
