A video capturing the moment where a fleet of cars illuminates in a ‘RAM’ formation is making waves on social media. The video is shared with the claims that an Indian lord Ram devotee and an owner of a Tesla showroom in the United States organized the event.
Internet users wrote, “Ram Bhakt Indian owner of the Tesla car showroom in Maryland USA, organized Tesla Music Show featuring 100 Tesla cars in formation that spelled RAM, and synchronized the headlights and music to Ram Dhoon.”
Fact Check
We did a relevant keyword search on Google. We found an extended video of the event on the YouTube channel of Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America. The video was uploaded on January 19, 2024.
The description of the video states that the event was organized at a temple in Maryland, USA. An excerpt reads, “Here’s the official Jai Shri Ram Tesla Light Show conducted by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America. Over 100 Tesla Ram bhakts gathered at Shri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple in Frederick, MD, USA to celebrate the upcoming inauguration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.”
Furthermore, the news was covered by multiple media houses, which also confirmed that the rally was organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA).
Conclusion:
This viral claim is misleading. The rally was not organized by the owner of the Tesla showroom in the USA. It was organized by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad America.
