Congress Rajya Sabha MP and a liquor Baron, Dheeraj Sahu is in headlines after the recent IT raid. Amid this, a statement of Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Convener is going viral on social media platforms saying: “Dheeraj Sahu is being framed by false allegations, I am an educated man, I have read the Constitution of India, it is not written on any page that one cannot keep cash at home.”

Another user by the name of Brijrajsinh Gohil also shared the same image along with the same statement.

Fact-Check

To verify the authenticity of this statement, we examined all social media handles of Aam Aadmi party including Arvind Kejriwa’s handles and didn’t get any tweet or post in this regard.

In addition, no such news has been published by any media organization related to Kejriwal ‘s remarks on Dheeraj Sahu’s case.

Conclusion

It is evident from DFRAC’s Fact-Check that the viral statement of Arvind Kejriwal stating Dheeraj Sahu is being framed by false allegations is completely Fake as no such statement has been made by Delhi’s CM over Dheeraj Sahu’s recent IT raid.
