One such video of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has surfaced online showing him encouraging his entourage for upcoming elections in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh.

In this video, a voice can be heard in the background saying: “Due to Inflation and unemployment, People are against the BJP, According to recent surveys, the condition of our party is quite distressing, Focus on Elections, visit every district, and village, especially Indore and Ujjain, use PM‘s Letter To Promote us otherwise our party will lose with massive voter turnout.

Fact-Check

By conducting reverse-image searches of the keyframes obtained after converting the viral video, the DFRAC team found the longer version of this video shared by the official X(Twitter)  handle of ANI/MP/CG/Rajasthan on June 26, 2023, with the caption: Madhya Pradesh CM held a review meeting regarding the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state“.

Upon further investigation, we found this video uploaded by the website ZEENews and The Times of India in the month of June this year, Moreover, both of the videos shared a similar caption: “CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan holds review meeting regarding PM’s visit to the state”

No conversational audio can be heard rather soft music is attached in the background of the discovered videos.

Conclusion

It is proved from DFRAC’s Fact-Check the video shared by users on X(Twitter) is falsely altered as background voice has been digitally added in the original video. Moreover, it has been uploaded in the month of June 2023, not recently.
