Amidst the ongoing conflict of Israel-Palestine, an image of an infant stuck in a rubble is going viral on social media with the claim that the image is from Gaza.

X user account named @INDIA_WIN2024 shared the image of an infant and wrote “These pictures make the heart tremble from within. What is wrong with these little innocent children? How can someone kill these children and sleep peacefully? STOP THE WAR”
Other users are also sharing the same image with similar claims.
Fact Check
To know the truth of the viral image, DFRAC team reverse-searched this image on Google. We found that the same image was uploaded on a Linked-in account 8 months ago with the caption “My heart was broken after seeing this innocent face. O our Lord, please do not punish us if we forget or make mistakes and do not impose on us to carry that for which we do not have the strength to bear; Please grant us pardon; Forgive us and have Mercy on us. Indeed you are oft-forgiving and merciful. Ameen”.
It is also likely to be an AI generated image as we can see in the image that the fingers of the infant are distorted.
