Amidst this World Cup 2023 season, a video is going viral on social media where it can be seen that people are fighting over food and pushing each other.
Users claim that the viral video is of the dinner of the Pakistani cricket team during their visit to India. An acc named ‘Desi Mojito’ posted the video and wrote – “The Pakistani cricket team arrived in India today and this is how they had dinner.”
Other users are making the same claim and sharing the video.

In order to know the truth behind the viral video, the DFRAC team converted the video into several frames and performed a reverse search with the help of Google.
During this time, the team found the same video uploaded on Facebook by Canada One TV with the caption, “Corona Free, Lahore Bar Elections” on October 03, 2020.
At the same time, another Facebook user ‘Scoop Pakistani’ has also shared it on 02 October 2020 with the caption ‘Corona Free, Lahore Bar Elections’.
Conclusion
This fact-check by DFRAC clearly shows that the viral video is from Lahore Bar Elections 2020 in Pakistan, meaning the video is three years old. This video has nothing to do with the Pakistan cricket team or the ongoing World Cup in India. Therefore, the claims made by social media users are misleading.
