Campaigned which we had exposed this conspiracy of China in our previous report ‘China targets India and Global Buddhist Summit in the guise of Dalai Lama’. Disinformation campaign started with Chinese account

On April 8, a video clip was posted on Twitter by the Chinese account @NiSiv4 Yin Sun, writing that the Pedo-Dalai Lama kissed an Indian boy at a Buddhist event and even tried to touch his tongue. Yes, then the boy opposed it. What a disgusting scene 🤮 In the video published on the “official” network, the scene was obviously cut… as if by magic!
This video clip has been viewed more than 74 lakh times. Retweeted and quote tweeted thousands of times.
Five days later on April 13, another tweet about this was made by @NiSiv4 Yyne Sun. In which he says that ‘I am the first person who has exposed Dalai Lama as a pedophile in English. Don’t be a pedophile supporter.’
This is a Chinese account. Which was made in February 2023. The location of this account is France. But it mostly has pro-China tweets.
The account’s wordcloud shows that most of the tweets by the account were on ‘China’, followed by Taiwan, Dalai Lama etc.
On the other hand, the engagement of the account shows that after April 8, there was a sudden increase in the engagement of the account.
This video clip shared by @NiSiv4 Yyne Sun was also amplified by another account.
Pakistan’s involvement in the disinformation campaign

Sameera Khan is another name among those who defamed the Dalai Lama by calling him a pedophile through a video clip. Sameera Khan is a Pakistani-American journalist. In 2015, she has been Miss New Jersey USA (Miss World Organization). She was also a surrogate for Bernie Sanders’ 2016 presidential campaign. Sameera, a former Russia Today correspondent in Washington, came into the limelight for sharing misleading memes of Joseph Stalin on her Twitter account. He later apologized for these memes.
Pakistani social media influencer Sameera Khan is considered a staunch opponent of the Dalai Lama. Sameera Khan was also instrumental in amplifying the video clip shared by @NiSiv4 Yyne Sun. On April 8, he shared a video clip shared by @NiSiv4 Yyne Sun, writing [WARNING: SENSITIVE CONTENT] Dollar Llama is a pedophile. Why has the US government recruited a pedophile to weaken/destabilize China?
In another tweet on April 12, the Dalai Lama thanked everyone who amplified the clip, especially @NiSiv4. This thread and story is also going viral (especially @stillgray). You all helped expose a pedophile. job well done. It cannot be stressed enough how great a platform Twitter is for alt-magazines. Nothing else like it.
Sameera Khan has been doing bad propaganda against Dalai Lama even before this. On October 17, he posted a thread against the Dalai Lama on Twitter. On which there was a lot of uproar. In his Thrayad, he accused the Dalai Lama of sacrificing children and slaves in religious rituals.

A video clip of the Dalai Lama from this account was posted on April 9. Also wrote that Latest: Dalai Lama kisses an Indian boy on the mouth and even tries to touch his tongue at a Buddhist event in India. After the kiss, he sticks out his tongue and tells the boy to “suck my tongue”.
This video has been viewed more than 17 lakh times. Liked and retweeted thousands of times. There is a whole thread with this video. Which @NiSiv4 posted in portuguese, just like Yyne Sun.
Disinformation campaign in different languages in different countries
This well-planned campaign against the Dalai Lama was not limited to any one country or any continent. This campaign was promoted from different countries of the world and in different languages. For this those countries and languages were used. The countries which have more population or the number of people speaking those languages are more.

Several fake images were created with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to insult and make fun of the Dalai Lama and the supreme leader of the Catholic community, Pope Francis. In which they were shown kissing each other.
Use of Facebook and Tiktok in disinformation campaign

This campaign related to the insult of the Dalai Lama was not limited to Twitter only. The relentless campaign against the Dalai Lama continued on Facebook and Tiktok as well. Several posts were made on Facebook mocking and criticizing the Dalai Lama. The word “pervert” was used in the post to defame him. During this time, these people did not spare even the insult of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Like other social media platforms, we found several derogatory posts against the Dalai Lama on TikTok as well. Be it a photo of the Dalai Lama kissing a young boy or a misleading video created through Artificial Intelligence (AI). Most of the users who posted like this were from western countries.
Online petition
In parallel with the propaganda against the Dalai Lama on Twitter, several online petitions were also started. The Change.org platform was used for all these petitions. Crista Villalvar started a petition on Change.org called ORGANIZACION DE LAS NACIONES UNIDAS (No to child abuse by the Dalai Lama). This petition has close to 47,000 signatures out of 50,000 signatures by May 2, 2023.

Liz Wheeler who is an American conservative political commentator, author and podcast host runs a show on YouTube. He made a video on the Dalai Lama’s video and termed it as ‘scary’.

Simona Rich, who runs a YouTube channel on spirituality, self-improvement, has over 23,000 subscribers on YouTube. He has posted several videos referring to the Dalai Lama as a sexual predator.
Another American YouTuber made a video on the Dalai Lama claiming that the Dalai Lama apologized after the incident not because he was honest but because he was caught.

Google Trend
We searched for the keyword “Dalai Lama Pedophile” on Google Trends, and found that the keyword was trending the most from the Philippines, followed by Canada, Romania, Australia, and France. The keyword was also trending in USA, UK and Indonesia.
Conclusion:
The Dalai Lama, a symbol of compassion, is an international figure. Those who have the ability to influence the issues related to geo politics. They have always got the support of Western and European countries including India against China. In such a situation, China conspired to damage the image of Dalai Lama in European countries through its propaganda. Clips of the Dalai Lama were amplified and misrepresented by Twitter in several languages, including Chinese, French, Spanish, English, Dutch and Portuguese. YouTubers from different countries tried to prove Dalai Lama a pedophile. Many online petitions started against him in different countries. The news was published in foreign media on the basis of the video clip. This entire campaign of misinformation was carried out in a planned manner by China itself.
