There are many claims made about the Constitution Maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. One such claim is that he said that until there is a single Muslim in India, this division is incomplete.
Suresh Chavhanke, CMD and Editor-in-Chief of Sudarshan News, quoted Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on Twitter and wrote, “I will not accept this division of the country until the last Muslim goes to Pakistan and the last Hindu comes to Hindus#डॉ_बाबासाहेब_आंबेडकर tan.” #BabasahebAmbedkar.”

Fact Check:
To check the reality of the claim DFRAC team checked the DFRAC archive. During this, we found that in this context, Twitter user Janardan Mishra had written a similar statement in August 2022 that Dr. B.R. Ambedkar wrote on page 123 of his book “Pakistan or the Partition of India” – ‘The partition of this country was made in the name of religion and until a single Muslim is in this country, this division is incomplete.’
Its was significant to note that Suresh Chavanke did not even gave any reference to his claim.

In fact, in this chapter, Dr. Ambedkar writes about Hindu and Muslim parties, as well as many thinkers’ views on India and Pakistan. The only thing Dr. Ambedkar does in this chapter is quote Savarkar’s thoughts from pages 119 to 130.
Conclusion:
DFRAC’s fact-check proves that Suresh Chavanke’s claims about Dr. Ambedkar are misleading because Dr. Ambedkar did not write or state anything like this. Social media continues to be flooded with fake news and misleading information about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the first law minister of independent India.
