To fact-check the viral video, the DFRAC team first converted the video into multiple frames, then did a reverse search. We found this video uploaded on April 8, 2021, on a YouTube channel called Ultimate Fun.
The viral video can be seen in this video. The caption of this video states that it is a prank video. At the end of this video, it can be seen that the person wearing the burqa is not a woman but a man, and he makes such videos to entertain people. Many prank videos can be seen on his YouTube channel.
Conclusion:
It is clear from the DFRAC fact-check that the video going viral is 2 years old and the person seen wearing hijab in the video is not a woman but a man and he keeps making prank videos. Therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
