To fact-check the viral claim on social media, the DFRAC team searched some keywords on Google. In this context, we have not received any recent statement from Farooq Abdullah. After this, using search tools on Google, Farooq Abdullah’s old statements were found.
We found a report published on the website of the Hindi newspaper “Amar Ujala”. The report was published on February 20, 2014. The report has been titled ‘I am not actually a Muslim but a Kashmiri Pandit’.
