A video is getting viral where a maulvi can be seen healing people with the help of a gun. People are claiming that the video is of India and the maulvi should be arrested for doing such activities.
Sharing a video, a Verified user Ashok Pandit, who is a filmmaker writes, “This Maulvi Sahib also treats with guns only! He feels sorry for the helpless people who have to live on the trust of such fraud people! This Maulvi should be in jail instead!” (English Translation)

Fact Check:
To investigate the viral claim DFRAC team did a Yandex search and found many pictures of the same maulvi. After scrolling through a few pictures we found a picture in which his name was written as Perubatan Islam Ustaz Raffi
then to further investigate the team searched on Google and found him on many social media sites like Facebook, YouTube, etc. In his Facebook introduction, he states, “Tujuan page ini dibuat ialah untuk membolehkan saya membantu lebih ramai lagi mer.” When the team detected the language, it was Malay and when translated into Hindi it stated, “The purpose of this page is to allow me to help more people.”
Then we found a site opengovmy.com in which his whole introduction was given like by profession he is an alternative Medical Practitioner, his location as he belongs to Malaysia, his contact number, etc.
Conclusion:
Through our investigation, it is clear that the maulvi does such practices, but does not belong to India and is residing in Malaysia where he operates as an alternative Medical Practitioner. Hence, the claim by social media users is Misleading.
