A Video is getting viral on social media sites regarding the Chief Minister of Telangana kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao. Social media users are sharing the video and mocking KCR to sing like a canary after his daughter has been named in the Delhi liquor excise scam.
By sharing the video a verified user named Priti Gandhi captioned: “After his daughter has been named in the Delhi Liquor Excise scam, KCR is suddenly singing like a canary!”

A 30-second video that has been shared on social media sites shows KCR, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi supremo, saying he was PM Modi’s ‘best friend” this video was shared on Twitter by the Bharatiya Janta party Priti Gandhi. After his daughter has been named in the Delhi Liquour Excise scam.
According to the ED, K. Chandrashekar Rao’s daughter K Kavitha, an MLC and a former MP was named in a remand report in connection with the alleged Delhi excise policy scam. Kavita and two others paid Rs 100 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party to assist with the benefits of the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy.
Fact Check:
To know the reality of the viral claim the team of DFRAC did a simple keyword search about KCR saying Narendra Modi is his “Best Friend”. The team found an official Youtube channel of NTV Telugu. The video was uploaded on 3 march 2018 with the heading- “ Pm Narendra Modi is my Friend says CM KCR, I have no dispute with Modi, NTV.”

At the same time, we found another youtube channel named Xplorer India in which KCR can be heard saying “ I have nothing against Narendra Modi and have respect for him. I am his best friend. He further added that he is only against “the slow progress of the country.

KCR video is more than 4 years old. Hence, the video is not related to KCR’s daughter k Kavitha’s involvement in the alleged Delhi policy excise scam.
Conclusion:
It is clear from the fact check of DFRAC that the viral video shared by Bhartiya Janta Party member Priti Gandhi is more than 4 years old. Therefore the claim is misleading.
