Fact Check:
To fact-check the viral video, the team of DFRAC did a simple search on Google. We found a report from hindi.news18.com. According to this report, this video is from Agar Malwa in Madhya Pradesh. Where some people raised Modi-Modi slogans.
When we searched about the Modi-Modi slogan at Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jhalawar, we came across a report published on NDTV. It has been told in this report that “Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is making a lot of headlines these days due to Bharat Jodo Yatra. On Tuesday morning, Rahul started his journey in an interesting way. In fact, many people gathered on the roof of the BJP’s Jhalawar office to get a glimpse of the march, to whom Rahul Gandhi gave a flying kiss. ”
Conclusion:
It is clear from the fact check of the viral video on social media that the video which is being said to be from Jhalawar is actually from Agar Malwa in Madhya Pradesh. In Jhalawar, not the general public, but BJP workers raised Modi-Modi slogans. Therefore, the claim of social media users is misleading.
