Sharing the video on Twitter, Turkish Urdu wrote- the celebration of Pakistan’s victory in Occupied Kashmir. Kashmiri boys took to the streets in various areas, including Srinagar, to celebrate India’s defeat in the Asia Cup and expressed happiness over Pakistan’s victory. To analyze the originality of the viral claim, the DFRAC team converted the video into a keyframe. Afterward, the team reverse-searched the keyframe. We found one such video on Twitter. Which was posted a year ago on 24 October 2021.

Meanwhile, the team also found a tweet from Srinagar Police. The tweet denied the viral video and caption that- “many fake/old videos are being shared by many handles including verified ones for sensationalism. If you live in Srinagar, you will know how peaceful and the calm post-match atmosphere is today. It is again requested to all not circulate such fake and old videos.”
