The DFRAC team did a reverse image search on the internet to find out the reality of the viral image. The team found a tweet from the official Twitter account of the ruler of Abu Dhabi ‘MBZ’, in which the original image can be seen. It is captioned in Hindi which can be nearly translated into English as, “Mohamed bin Zayed awarded the Zayed Medal to the Indian Prime Minister for his role in promoting friendship and cooperation. A special commemorative stamp was released to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in his presence.”
At the same time, the verified account of PMO also tweeted these pictures and wrote that the prestigious ‘Order of Zayed’ was presented to Prime Minister @narendramodi at a ceremony in Abu.
