This parody account of Mohan Bhagwat has more than 50 thousand followers on Twitter. On the other hand, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s name and an ID with her photo was tweeted – “France has banned mosques and madrasas by declaring them as terrorist bases” Should this happen in “India” too! YES / NO”(English Translation)
This ID of Kangana Ranaut has about 10 thousand followers. At the same time, many other social media users are also posting such a claim.
Fact Check:
To fact-check the viral claim, we did some keyword searches on Google. We could not find any information regarding the banning of mosques and madrasas in France by declaring them as terrorist bases. Hence the claim made by social media users is false. On the other hand, when we got information about Kangana Ranaut’s account, the fact came to light that Kangana’s Twitter account has been suspended, she is currently active on Instagram.
