A video is getting viral on social media. Users who shared this video had claimed that in the T20 match played between India and Australia, the audience was dancing to the slogan of “Jai Shri Ram”. In the video, the song used was – “Every Indian child will say Jai Shri Ram” can be heard. (English Translation)

At the same time, according to the video uploaded on TIMES NOW Navbharat’s YouTube channel, this video has been told of Hyderabad. Navbharat Times titled it- “Fans played bhajan of Lord Ram in the stadium during Ind vs Aus match, Video became Viral”

Fact check-
To analyze the viral video, the DFRAC team first tried to know if this video is really from Hyderabad Stadium. The team searched for some keywords on Google. We found a tweet from Hyderabad-based Rachakonda Police. The tweet shed light on the viral video and stated that the video is not from Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, according to the police-“This is incorrect. It did not happen in Hyderabad stadium. Such false propaganda brings down the image of Hyderabad. Suitable action will be taken against the persons doing such false propaganda, misguiding the people.” (English Translation)

After the Hyderabad police’s statement, it is clear that the video was not from Hyderabad. We then proceeded with the search. During which we found a tweet. This tweet was made on September 24, 2022. According to Tweet, this video is from the second T20 match played between India and Australia in Nagpur. Nagpur’s match was played on September 23 and Hyderabad’s match was played
on September 25. It is once again clear that this video is not from Hyderabad.

The DFRAC team then did some more analysis on social media regarding the video. Our search did not reveal the original source of the video, but we found another video on YouTube, in which the song can be heard. The video was uploaded on September 13, 2022. Conclusion:
The DFRAC team is trying to find out the original source of the video in its fact check. According to sources found so far, this video is not from Hyderabad. Apart from this, our search revealed that the song used in the viral video and the song found on YouTube are the same. Therefore, it can be concluded that the song has been edited in the viral video.
