Fake and misleading information often goes viral on social media. Users keep sharing these videos without knowing the truth of them. One such video is going viral on social media. In this video, a Maulana can be heard talking about India being powerful under the rule of the BJP and RSS. Social media users are sharing this video claiming that this video is of the Chief Secretary of the Taliban.
Sharing this video, a user wrote- “Taliban accepted that RSS and BJP are more powerful in India, as long as there is BJP in India, no country can attack it. If you want to attack India, first remove BJP, watch this video of what the Taliban chief secretary said in Pakistan.” {English Translation}
At the same time, many other users are also making the same claim.

To fact-check the video going viral, we first searched the library of DFRAC. We found that this video has gone viral earlier as well and DFRAC fact-checked this video on 9th January 2022. Which you can read here.
According to our fact check, this video is not of the Taliban Chief Secretary but of Pakistan’s political analyst Khalid Mahmood Abbasi, who lives in Islamabad. Abbasi is analyzing the political situation of India in this video. This video was uploaded on Khalid Mahmood Abbasi’s official YouTube channel on 3 August 2021.

Conclusion:
It is clear from our fact check that the person praising BJP and RSS in the viral video is a Pakistani political analyst, who is being described as the chief secretary of the Taliban. Hence the claim being made by social media users is false.
