Sharing the video a user on Facebook writes, “Girlfriend Arpita Mukherjee, who is having crores of rupees, was also dancing with MP Saugata Roy. Look which song is playing??

Fact Check:

DFRAC desk searched on Google through certain keywords and found the clear video on a Bengali YouTube channel named Sangbad Pratidin which was uploaded on 18 January 2019. The caption was, “TMC’s Saugata Roy dances with Raveena Tandon.”

DFRAC desk also found reports related to the viral video dated 18^th January 2019 and according to the report actress Raveena Tandon was dancing with Saugata Roy and also that the video is from a food festival.

Conclusion:

In the investigation by the DFRAC desk, the viral claim about Saugata Roy’s dance video is misleading. As it is not Arpita Mukherjee dancing with Saugata Roy, but actress Raveena Tandon.
