A video is doing rounds on the internet. Sharing the video users are sharing that, PM Modi ignored former President Ram Nath Kovind at his farewell ceremony. Further, sharing the video Sanjay Singh of AAP wrote, “Such an insult Very Sorry Sir These people are like this, your term is over, now they will not even look at you.”
Karti P Chidambaram also shared the viral video with the caption, “offered without any comments.”
Similarly, many other social media users have shared this video.
Fact Check
Using the InVID tool and applying reverse image search on different keyframes of the viral video, the DFRAC team found it on YouTube on Sansad TV. The title of the video is, “President Kovind’s departure from the Central Hall of Parliament I Farewell function.”
In the 8:57 minutes long video, at 1.09 minutes we can the clip that has gone viral. Further, after delivering his farewell speech, Kovind was greeting the attendees with folded hands. In the video, it can be seen that Kovind has greeted Modi. But, the social media users have cropped that part from the viral video and have shared the video with misleading claims.
