Fact Check: The truth behind Pardhan Mantri Loan Yojna.

A Post on the name of a scheme called Pardhan Mantri Loan Yojna is getting viral on social media sites. It is being claimed that the loan provides a subsidized loan of up to 20 lakh rupees.

Many users shared the below screenshot with different captions of Pradhan Mantri Yojana Loan.

In many captions, the link for the application is also provided that can be downloaded from the play store.

Fact Check:

We initiate by clicking on the link and found no such application on the play store.

After this we reverse searched the image using the keyframes and found nothing related to this scheme on the internet. Also, there is no such media report on this scheme.

The website provided on the ‘प्रधानमंत्री लोन योजना INDIA’ Facebook page is also not working. also, ‘Pradhan’ is spelled wrong as “prdhan” in the website address.

‘Press Information Bureau (PIB)’ also tweeted that there is no such central government scheme.
