After a reverse search on Google, this picture, which is going viral on social media, revealed that it is not of the first Iftar party of independent India but of a banquet organized for the cabinet of the Government of India. This banquet was organized to commemorate the appointment of C. Rajagopalachari as Governor General by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
This picture has been shared on the Facebook page of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar on 27 August 2020. According to this post, this banquet was organized to commemorate the appointment of C. Rajagopalachari as Governor General.
