When we reverse search this image we found that this is an old image from Jan 17, 2018.it was covered in an Istanbul daily named DAILY SABAH with the headline, “Old Man In Tears Hugged His Beloved Cat As His Home Burns Down.”
This picture was also was voted for “First Iftar of Turkish Soldiers” in the news category by Ozkan Bilgin, “Ali and his cat” in the life category by Ilhami Cetin, and “Sultans of Karate” in the sports category by Burak Akbulut.
Conclusion:
The photo getting viral is not from Russia-Ukraine war , but from the year 2018.
